I have an interest in the physics and applications of electromagnetism. Plasma is an ionized gas with a lot interesting electromagnetic properties. Being able to research the EM fields and trajectories of the MPT will give me a chance to apply the theory I learned in my favorite classes into a real world project. This will also give me research experience to help me get into graduate school.

I currently modeled EM fields in a cylindrical resonator that could be put in the Multipole Plasma Trap (MPT). I plan on contributing more this summer with modeling more EM Fields, Trajectories and Potentials in the MPT.
